From the mainland zambales theirs an island called Potipot often tagged as the “Little Boracay of the North” Potipot Island is located in Candaleria, Zambales which is about five to six hours travel from Manila and four to five hours from Clark Freeport Zone. The island is conveniently small where you can literally walk around it in just an hour and theirs no commercial establishment in this island. (don’t forget! bring your food) 🙂
There is my tips during vising this island
- Since I traveling with kids, I choose to stay in one of resort to relaxed after long hours driving so we stayed in Sun Bloom Resort which reasonable accommodation and personalized service. And staffs are so friendly and accommodating. Price starts at PHP 1400 with air conditioned room good for four person.

Arrange your Boat to get in the island in the next day which cost PHP400 for 6 person.

There is an Entrance fee in the island 100 for day trippers and 300 for overnight campers . A Hut cottage is also available in the island that will cost you 1,500 per day.
If you are a quick, And on budget get-away like me, Potipot Island should be high on your list. Hope this tips will help you.
