A couple of days ago, I took my kids to cherry-pick in one of the farms here in Northern, California, and we are lucky enough to catch the last week of the season. Those cherries are super ripe and sweet. So, I figured out it’s time to make the most famous cherry pie! And cherry pie is such a great idea to serve in this celebration on the fourth of July. The colors are so appealing that you can’t resist having some piece of slice.
But first, Since we are using fresh cherries we have to wash and remove all the seeds and start how you like the taste of your filling if you wanted to be sweeter, add more sugar if you desired. If you wanted to sourer, add a little squeeze of lemon. Just make sure you balance the flavors.
