This time I am going to share with you our lunch today, a simple classic recipe. This is so easy and I’m sure everyone could make it.
My daughter Alisz has been loving cheese lately so I made this sandwich for her.
Choose a bread that you prefer for this recipe. You may get a footlong bread, burger bread or a slice bread etc. This recipe goes along with any of those. But this time I’m gonna use slice white bread which is most available in our house.
The best sandwiches don’t happen by accident. So the most important thing is to get the balance of moisture and crunch. Since bread is our main ingredient you must get those components to construct your best sandwich. Stuffing on the sandwich is so easy and fun. You can put eggs, vegetables, bacon, cheese anything that you like — but we are talking ham and cheese here because sandwiches have much in common.
Most the time sandwich plate together with fries and you can eat this as a snack or as your breakfast, lunch and even dinner and that is what makes everyone’s favorite. How about you? What’s your favorite sandwich?
- 4 slices white bread
- 2 slices Smoked Ham
- 4 Cheddar Singles Cheese
- butter or margarine
Butter 1 side of 2 slices bread.
Warm a dry skillet pan or grilled pan over medium-high heat and warm the cooked ham.
Reduce heat to medium-low and put bread slices in skillet or grilled pan, butter-side down. Cover 1 bread slice with sliced cheese. Layer ham on cheese, then top ham with more cheese.
Flip other piece of bread and put on top of ham and cheese, butter side up. Cook until cheese melts and breads brown.
Served with French fries and garnish with pickled cucumber and enjoy….
